The Wentworth Seahorses were back in the
water last night. After a three-week break, they were full of energy and
enthusiasm and ready to take on the Whangaparaoa Jets. They concentrated on
moving the ball forward, although the greater experience of the Jets told in
the end, with the score finishing 12:4. Nevertheless, the Seahorses continue to
improve with each game. For the first time this year, there were two Players of
the Day – Maddie Rist, who scored all four goals; and, Isabella made an outstanding effort in goal, getting
her fingertips to every ball fired her way. Welcome, also, to Liam Phillips and Maddie who
are the newest members of our Y3/4 squad. Well done, Seahorses!
