This week the Falcons played the Red Beach
Comets in an exciting but challenging match. At half-time, the Falcons had left
themselves with a lot of work to do but in the second half, they played
brilliantly. With tight marking and fast passing, they were soon back on
scoring form and Red Beach found it difficult to match their pace. Nevertheless, the Comets just managed to hold
onto their lead until the final whistle. Blake Fortzer-Bezar was named Player
of the Day for excellent positioning but the whole team deserves praise for
their gritty determination in the second half of the match.
